Destination weddings: Mandarin Oriental Marrakech

Are you looking for a winter wedding with a twist? Then I strongly recommend you get married at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech.

The vicinity of the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech with the Atlas Mountains in the background is absolutely superb. I visited the Atlas ballroom. This is a gorgeous room with lots of light, where you can have your cocktails (capacity 250; 160 seated round table) or your ceremony; perhaps for your ceremony, how about having it outside, under a traditional tent? Wouldn’t that be lovely? The ballroom is surrounded by several “salons” to accommodate your needs as well (I think it is great to have a "kids room" for instance).

I was lucky enough to stay in a villa at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech. The Mandarin Oriental Marrakech used a perfect VIP service to fetch me at the airport, directly to the hotel. What an impeccable service.

Ten minutes sitting outside, on the terrace of the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech, prior to check-in, enjoying a delicious cappuccino. Ten minutes at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech is just what I needed to feel completely relaxed and forget everything.. Bliss.

Thank you again to the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech for such a warm welcome and perfect stay. Whether it was a late appointment at the spa, a very early morning golf lesson, the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech responded to each of my demand, always “avec plaisir”. I am a fan.

Tip for French speakers: it is ideal to get married in Marrakech (my parents cannot speak a word of English; it is nice to think that on your wedding day your relatives and friends will not have any difficulties liaising with the staff for any queries they may have).
