Something new, something blue...something incredible: Yoko London, Exceptional Pearl Jewellery

Throwback January. We were fortunate enough at Audrey Ametis Weddings to visit the prestigious boutique of Yoko London in Knightsbridge.

The boutique has the perfect setting to explore the beautiful jewellery collections, in a tranquil atmosphere.

Yoko London is a family business, the Hakimian heritage, and one can see clearly the amount of love and passion put into the creation of these incredible jewellery necklaces, pendants, earrings, rings and bracelets.

Yoko London is special to us. “I remember vividly my mother’s reaction when I offered her beautiful Yoko London pearls earrings. I could see pride in her eyes; and every time she wears them” says Audrey of Audrey Ametis Weddings.

The family works exclusively with thirteen different pearl farms around the globe, to source and select the finest and most unusual pearls on the market, with rare colours and exceptional sizes of particular interest.

When one perhaps thinks of pearls and weddings, an elegant, classic pearl necklace for the mother of the bride comes to mind. To the contrary: south sea pearls, Tahitian pearls, golden south pearls, akoya… with pearls the sky is the limit.

You are of course familiar with the saying something old, new, something borrowed, something blue. So to all mothers, mothers-in-law, bridesmaids and grooms: we say at Audrey Ametis Weddings:be bold and shake traditions!

For Valentine’s day, propose with a Yoko London Belgravia South Sea Pearl, Sapphire and Diamond Ring and let the magic happens.

Along with the wedding dress that the bride will be wearing, we usually help with jewellery consultation as well. It would be our absolute pleasure to advise you.
