Spotlight on Le Bristol Paris: the epitome of French elegance

Have you met Fa-Raon? The regulars at the Bristol know him very well. Fa-Raon is the beautiful Burmese cat whose home is Le Bristol Paris. Guests have the pleasure of seeing him majestically walking around in the hotel or curled up on his favourite lounge chair. By far the luckiest cat in the world he also lives up to his name being surrounded by exquisite art in France’s first palace hotel.

Fa-Raon has witnessed the most amazing weddings, and he also does a bit of celebrity spotting, including of course Eric Frechon, the 3-Michelin starred Chef, one of the best chefs in the world at the restaurant Epicure.

We are, at Audrey Ametis Weddings, very familiar with the Lanesborough (head over to our site to read our blog on The Lanesborough) our home in London; and we were ever so delighted to meet the Lanesborough’s sister hotel in Paris: Le Bristol Paris.

On the day we visited, we received the most amazing welcome from the team at Le Bristol Paris.

Emilie Goyons, their Events Sales Manager, showed us around the most beautiful reception rooms of this palace rue du Faubourg Saint-Honore, minutes from the Elysee Palace.

Le Bristol Paris has six wedding and event salons, including:

  • the Salon Elysee, viewed after crossing the beautiful secret courtyard, the Salon Elysee is an oak panelled room, perfect for an intimate wedding of 20-30 guests; the traditional French Versailles parquet floors and Louis the 16th furniture and silk carpets bring so much character to the room.

  • the Salon Rambouillet is light and airy and connected to the most pleasant interior garden. This will be ideal for pre-dinner drinks or cocktails before enjoying a sumptuous Michelin starred dinner in the impressive Salon Versailles

  • the Salon Versailles, reminiscent of the Versailles garden in Paris, it offers unobstructed views of the beautiful gardens and can accommodate up to 90 guests in cabaret style or just below 150 in banquet style. A stunning trompe l’oeil feature wall transports you to the gardens of Versailles. Simply an amazing room in which to celebrate for your wedding day.

  • the Salon Marigny, we really like this salon; we think this is the perfect as a most intimate room, perhaps for grand-maman et grand-papa to find a haven from the excitement of the wedding day

  • the Salon Castellane is our favourite room of Le Bristol Paris. Formerly the Count of Castellane’s private theatre, with its oval shape, wooden walls, Baccarat crystal chandeliers. There is an incredible sense of grandeur in this room and it is ideal for those looking for an authentic opulent experience

  • Le Bar, why not end a most memorable evening of your wedding party at the elegant yet modern Bar of Le Bristol Paris, where you can enjoy the most delicious cocktails or even ask the bar staff to create one for you?

On our way back, chatting with the taxi driver, he said: “this hotel is well known (we thought he was about to talk about celebrities) – for their kindness”. We agree wholeheartedly. Every single member of staff we met was so kind and warm and the hospitality was exceptional. Looks like we found our home in Paris. Thank you Le Bristol Paris. Contact us at Audrey Ametis Weddings should you wish to get married at Le Bristol Paris and we will gladly help you create the most perfect memories.

Did you know? When we thought it could not have been more perfect: Le Bristol Paris is home to a La Prairie Spa! You will look absolutely radiant for your wedding day thanks to the iconic La Prairie Skin Caviar treatment.
